AN event is being held in January to raise money for the 2019 Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival.
Falmouth Watersports Bar and Cafe at Grove Place will be the venue for the evening of song on Saturday, January 19, 2019.
The night will feature The Oggymen, Figurehead and Bryher's Boys.
Tickets are £10 and are available from Falmouth Watersports Bar and Cafe and also from The Cornish Store.
The Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival takes place from June 14 to 16, 2019.
One of the largest free nautical music and song festivals anywhere in the world, it features dozens of group from all over the UK, as well as France, Holland and Ireland.
Each performs their own take on sea songs and shanties at more than 20 venues all over Falmouth, from pubs to street corners, parish churches to the large stages.
