A car driver was taken to hospital in a serious condition last night after colliding with two sets of parked vehicles within moments of each other.
The silver Toyota Aygo car first crashed with a parked black panel van in Hea Road, Heamoor, Penzance just after 5pm yesterday.
Moments later the same car was reported to have collided into two parked cars on Reens Crescent.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said this morning: "Emergency services attended including police and South West Ambulance. The driver of the silver Toyota Aygo is currently at the Royal Cornwall Hospital and is in a serious condition."
Officers from the Alliance Roads Policing Team attended to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
Police are now asking anyone who witnessed the collision or saw a silver Toyota Aygo in the area at the time of the collision to contact the police on 101 quoting incident log number 672 dated December 7, 2018.
