FALMOUTH dockyard workers from years gone by had a chance to catch up and reminisce at the Annual Docks Pensioners' Dinner on Friday night.
The event at Falmouth School saw more than 100 former workers get together, said Gerald Pitts, A&P Defence managing director.
The shipyard holds the event every year, treating pensioners to a free Christmas meal and a raffle.
Mr Pitts told the Packet: "It was the usual good turnout.
"It's great to see everybody and they all wanted to talk about the old times, which I don't mind as I have been there since I was an apprentice."
Mr Pitts said that the evening also took a moment to reflect on former workers who had passed away since the last dinner.
He added: "We always do an upstanding for the people we have lost, which is always a poignant moment."
