With little time left before the big day, a visit to Santa’s Grotto in Dylan’s Bear Necessities in Trelowarren Street, Camborne is a ‘must’ for local families.

Santa will be there from 11am to 3pm this weekend and then again, for the final time, on Saturday 22 December, before having to dash off and sort out Christmas.

Thanks to Tesco and everyone who voted in their blue token scheme and Camborne and Redruth Lions, entry is free but donations are welcome.

Parking in Rosewarne Car Park during the last shopping weekend before Christmas is also free, making a trip to Camborne’s festive town centre even more attractive.

“Our real tree is making a huge impact – I truly believe it’s one of the best anywhere in the country, let alone Cornwall,” said Mel Martin, BID Camborne manager.

“Our shops have also made a fantastic effort with their window displays, especially Up Memory Lane Interiors which has just won our annual competition for the best Christmas window.

"The streets are looking lovely and, with our unique range of independent businesses, Camborne is a genuinely great place to buy special gifts at an excellent price.”
