A Boots surgery and its staff have donated a Christmas hamper to a Falmouth nursing home.
Boots’ Trescobeas surgery, based on Trescobeas Road in Falmouth gifted the basket to Langholme Residential and Dementia Care Home.
“We wanted to do something for the community,” said Carmen Pellow of Boots Trescobeas.
“A few of our patients have now come down to stay at Langholme so we thought we’d do up a hamper which the staff at Trescobeas have donated,” she added.
The hamper included chocolates, wine, biscuits, toiletries and a Christmas CD.
“I’m hoping they’re going to enjoy it!” said Carmen.
Wendy Day, who works at Langholme, said: “We thank them [Boots Trescobeas] very much. It’s very kind of them, thinking of the residents on Christmas Day.”
