A MULLION man has appeared in court on charged with five offences relating to an incident which took place on Wednesday.
James Paul Wesley Pearson, aged 47, of Mullion Cove, appeared before Bodmin magistrates on Friday facing five charges:
1, Driving a Peugeot Partner van otherwise in accordance with a licence on Grange Road, Helston
2, Driving the van without insurance in Helston
3, Assaulting by beating a police officer in Helston
4, Making an unwarranted demand with menaces of a Peugeot van from a man in Helston
5, Possessing a blade, namely a folding cut throat razor, in The Commons, Mullion
Mr Pearson's case has been sent to Truro Crown Court for trial on Tuesday, January 8 at 10am. He has been remanded in custody.
