EMERGENCY Services were called to two separate car fires in the early hours of this morning.

The first incident took place in Zelah, just off the A30, just after 1am.

Firefighters from Perranporth attended the scene and used two hosereels to extinguish the fire.

Just over two hours later, they received another call of a car fire in Tresillian, on the A390.

This time officers from Truro attended and once again used two hosereels to put out the fire.

Arson was suspected in both incidents police also attended the scenes.
