FROM January 9 you'll be able to pick up your free copy of The Packet from a host of retailers around the area.

It means that you'll always be able to catch up with the local news by simply collecting the newspapers when you pop into your local shop.

The free edition of the Packet covers the Truro, Camborne, Redruth, wider west Cornwall and Penzance areas, as well as featuring entertainment guide, motoring and sport each week.

The Falmouth and Helston editions of the paper will remain at the great value of 80p.
