A signalling fault is causing disruption at Truro Station in Truro this afternoon.
Tickets are being accepted on local bus routes, with passengeres warned that train services may be cancelled or delayed.
In the last few minutes Great Western Railway has confirmed that the line towards Penzance had now reopened, but warned that disruption was still expected until at least 4pm.
Customer advice is that tickets will be accpeted on the First Kernow bus route T1: Penzance (Station) - St Erth (Station) - Hayle - Camborne (Bus Station) - Redruth (Station) - Truro.
They will also be accepted on the First Kernow route T2: St Ives (Bus Station) - Carbis Bay - Lelant - Hayle - Camborne (Bus Station) - Redruth (Station) - Truro.
This stands until further notice.
