Falmouth’s historic Princess Pavilion is kicking off 2019 with a brand new menu and an exciting line up of events.

Available from this coming Monday, the Garden Room restaurant will be offering a range of new dishes, including light bights, sandwiches, wraps and a variety of main meals - with meat, seafood, vegetarian and vegan options all available.

During the evening of Thursday, January 17, there’s also an opportunity for customers to have fun building their own burger. Taking place from 6pm, with entertainment from 8pm, booking is recommended but not essential.

“2019 is going to be another big year for us,” said manager, Hayley May. “With the introduction of the new menu and a very varied event programme, there’s a lot to look forward to.

“We’re also pleased to announce that well-behaved dogs are now welcome in our restaurant and bar.”

The popular venue is well known for its 600-capacity concert hall which has hosted a wide variety of famous acts over the years - including the likes of Ed Sheeran who once performed to 300 people whilst standing on a table, before returning just three months later as a superstar.

The 2019 line up continues the tradition of providing something for everyone - from a wide range of music acts (including new talent) to plays, ballet and, of course, Falmouth’s annual Flower Show in March.

GLL took on the management of The Princess Pavilion, on behalf of Cornwall Council, in 2017 and, as a charitable leisure social enterprise, re-invests all its surpluses into continued improvements. GLL delivers leisure services under its ‘Better’ brand.

The Princess Pavilion’s Garden Room restaurant is open each day from 10am-4pm until the end of April.
