FALMOUTH police are reporting an increase in graffiti around the town.
The picture featured is one of the repeated tags which is appearing.
A spokesman from the Force said: "These are usually sprayed on to people's private property which will incur personal costs to get it removed.
"It's criminal damage and it's not exactly a Banksy masterpiece that people will want to keep on their garden walls."
Anyone with information of who might be responsible for this, or other graffiti, is urged to call 101.
In attempting to decipher the tag, the police spokesman added: "We're pretty sure Bono hasn't been spraying the town, but we'll keep an open mind!"
