A person had to be pulled from the water by coastguards after getting into difficulties at a Falmouth beach.
Volunteers with the Falmouth Coastguard Rescue Team were called to Castle Beach after a 999 call was made over a person in the water.
The team worked with police to help the person from the rocks and back onto the safety of dry land.
The casualty was then left in the care of the police following the incident, which took place just before 4.15pm on Thursday.
