EMERGENCY services were called to search for a vulnerable missing person near Perranuthnoe yesterday evening.
Falmouth Coastguard's Operations Centre requested the help of both Newlyn-based Penlee Lifeboats at 5.10pm.
They were tasked to assist the Devon & Cornwall Police who were also part of the search.
The Mollie and Ivor Dent & Ivan Ellen lifeboats were asked to conduct a shoreline search to locate, and potentially recover the person.
Penzance Coastguard Rescue Team were also tasked to help search the area.
As both lifeboats approached the search area, the person was located safe and well on Perranuthnoe beach by the police. All units were stood down.
