POLICE have named the man who was killed on the A30 in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Shaun Salmon, aged 22, of no fixed address, was struck by a car at Tolvaddon, near Camborne.
A woman who was driving the car was treated for an arm injury.
The A30 westbound between Redruth and Camborne reopened just before midday after the crash took place at 5.20am.
Devon & Cornwall Police had tweeted around 6am that all emergency services were on the scene and the road was likely to be closed for some time.
Rush hour traffic was signficantly disrupted after the collision between Avers Roundabout and Tolvaddon.
The eastbound carriageway was also closed initially but reopened just after 6am.
