A small Falmouth hotel has received recognition in the 17th annual TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice awards.
The Oceanic Hotel in Falmouth finished in the top ten of the UK's Small hotels category, with The White House in Newquay also in the top ten.
The awards honour the world’s most outstanding properties in a variety of categories including Top Hotels, Bargain, B&Bs and Inns, Best Service, Luxury and Small Hotels.
Other notable results in Cornwall:
• Blue Hayes Hotel in St Ives ranks 13th in the UK for Romance
• Surf Haven Guest House in Bude comes 21st in the UK’s top B&Bs list
• Sands Resort Hotel & Spa in Newquay is the UK’s 16th best-rated Family hotel
Five of the world’s top ten B&Bs can be found in the UK, with the 25 Boutique B&B in Torquay taking the title of world's best B&B.
