Three horses were on the road near Blowinghouse, Redruth
Police officers had to work off the hoof this morning when three horses escaped onto the road near Redruth.
Officers were called to the A3047 near Blowinghouse Hill, where there were plenty of long faces from motorists trying to negotiate their way past the unruly trio.
The loose horses were eventually rounded up and secured.
Traffic is now flowing freely again.
