Police have charged a man in connection to a robbery at a shop in Camborne.

Police were called following an incident that took place at around 12.45pm on Thursday, January 31, at the Beacon Stores shop on Fore Street, Beacon, near Camborne.

Two men aged 34 and 20, plus a 32-year-old woman were arrested.

Dillon Berryman, aged 20, from Fordh Lacey, Camborne, has been charged with robbery, being in possession of a bladed article in public, and threatening a person with a bladed article.

Mr Berryman appeared before Truro Magistrates Court on Saturday.

He has been held in remand and is due to appear before Truro Crown Court on Tuesday, March 5.

The other two suspects in this matter have since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
