DESPITE gale force winds this morning, work continued to repair the harbour wall in Portreath.
Contractors working for the Environment Agency are rebuilding the wall, which was destroyed by storms in January last year.
This morning, workers made light of the angry sea to pump concrete into shuttering to create a ferro-concrete core.
That will then be faced with local stone which has been salvaged from the collapsed wall.
It remains a breezy day today, with another day of gales and heavy rain forecast tomorrow.
