More traffic lights have been set up on Bickland Water Road only a week after the last set was taken down.
A Cornwall Council spokesperson told the Packet last Monday that further traffic lights were not likely to be set up on the road.
This latest set of three-way lights are controlling traffic on the junction of Mongleath Road around the construction of a gas main to the new Taylor Wimpey development.
According to the council, delays are likely until April 26.
Traffic is also being controlled on Mongleath Road
The road has been affected by congestion since traffic management began nearly a year ago in April 2018 around the ongoing Persimmon Homes development by Falmouth Town AFC.
These lights were originally meant to be taken down on November 21, but unforeseen utility works extended this deadline to just before Christmas.
Another two sets of lights were put up on the road soon afterwards, the second of which was taken down last week.
