The Acorn in Penzance will host a raucous pirate party when Brighton's The Captain's Beard comes to town on Saturday May 18.
Support comes from a gaggle of piratical Cornish acts including Falmouth's The Roustabouts Collective, Hayle's Gurdybird and Portreath's Pirate Copy.
Swashbucklers will be welcomed to the gig by firebreathers at the entrance, and it promises to be a night of rum-fuelled mayhem of the best kind.
The Captain's Beard are a "company o' travelin' troubadors on a quest te bring the finest o' sea shantys and forebitters to the ears of all who'll listen."
Their event at The Acorn is part of a UK-wide tour that also has dates at The Chintz in Falmouth on May 14, Whiskers in Newquay on May 15 and The Melting Pot in Redruth on May 16.
Doors open at 8pm on May 18, and tickets can be purchased from crbo.co.uk.
