The public has been asked for its help in finding a man said to be missing for a week after assaulting two police officers.

Police want to find 27-year-old Ryan Walsh who they say was stopped and given a drug search before he assaulted two officers and ran away.

They have been looking for him ever since he fled the Mount Wise area of Newquay at around 8pm on Friday, March 1.

He is said to have links all over Newquay, but could be elsewhere in the county.

Walsh is described as a white man, of slim build, and around 5ft 7ins tall with short, light brown hair.

Police are asking the public for information as to his whereabouts and to report any sightings of Walsh.

Anyone who sees him or knows where he is should contact police on 101 quoting CR/018792/19.
