FIVE vehicles were on fire in the early hours of the morning in the centre of Redruth.
Just after 2am the Critical Control Centre received an emergency call regarding the vehicles, which were well alight on Wesley Street.
Two appliances from Tolvaddon, one from Perranporth and a officer were mobilised to the incident.
On arrival, crews confirmed five vehicles, well alight.
Firefighters used four Breathing Apparatus, two Main Jets, one Covering Jet and one Hose Reel to extinguish the fire.
Crews remain in attendance, using four breathing apparatus to monitor and cool hot metal surfaces of the vehicle remains.
