Young gymnasts from Penryn took part in a prestigious competition in Orlando, Florida and returned home with an impressive haul of nearly 30 medals.
The gymnasts from Penryn Gymnastics Centre, between the ages of nine and 14, competed in the Magical Classic Invitational International Competition.
It was held at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Florida with gymnasts from around the world meeting for the friendly competition.
The group spent ten days in Orlando, which gave them time to experience training in the US at a range of different facilities including Legacy Gymnastics and Reflex Gymnastics Centres, with lots of new friends and contacts made along the way.
Jill Punter, head coach said: "We are extremely proud and impressed with the girls' performance at their first international competition.
"Their behaviour and conduct throughout the trip was exemplary and every child was an outstanding representative for our club, Cornwall and the UK."
The trip could not have gone ahead without the support of a few local and national organisations.
Penryn Gymnastics Centre have thanked West Cornwall Youth Trust, Penryn Town Council and Aviva Community Fund for their funding contributions.
