Police have seized a large amount of what they suspect to be cannabis from a man and a woman in their 50s.
The pair, from Birmingham, were arrested on suspicion of possession of Class B drugs with intent to supply after a routine traffic stop in Penryn.
Devon and Cornwall Police's No Excuse team spotted a "suspect vehicle" in Broad Street at 12.30 yesterday afternoon (Thursday March 14) and pulled it over.
A police spokesperson said that a large quantity of "suspected cannabis" was then seized from the vehicle.
The pair have been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
