A man was trapped after a crash in a busy street in Helston this morning.
The one-way street in Godolphin Road has been partially blocked for several hours due to an accident which happened arounded 8am.
Two vehicles were involved, with the crash taking place between Market Place and Station Road.
At 9.21am Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service's Critical Control received an emergency call from the police.
Appliances from Helston, Falmouth and the Rescue Tender from Bodmin were mobilised to the incident.
On arrival crews confirmed a two-vehicle collision, with one person trapped.
Firefighters proceeded to stabilise the vehicle and assisted ambulance crew with the extraction of the casualty, who was then taken to hospital.
