FALMOUTH police have seized several vehicles as part of their No Excuses campaign.
The team, along with the Road Crime Unit, Cornwall Proactive Team, Roads Policing Team, Peninsula Road Safety Partnership and student officers were deployed in and around the Falmouth area on Thursday.
Several vehicles were seized for licence and insurance offences.
This included a man who’s previous convictions had not been disclosed. The insurance company immediately cancelled the policy back to when it was taken out.
The team then responded to a marker on a vehicle which was found in Penryn. The occupants were detained and a large quantity of cannabis was located in the vehicle.
A male and female from out of the force area were both arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
A spokesman for the team added: "On the way back from custody, officers in an unmarked vehicle stopped a motorist who was using a mobile phone while driving, frustratingly they were a front line member of another emergency service who should know better."
