A teenager from Helston and his older brother must pay more than £5,000 in compensation to their victims after attacking two men in the street.
Nineteen-year-old Stephen Jory, from Trenethick Parc in Helston, and his 22-year-old brother Matthew Jory, of Harbour Court in Penzance, pleaded guilty to affray when they appeared before Truro Crown Court on Monday.
They had pleaded not guilty to GBH on a man and ABH on a second man, and these charges were dropped by the prosecution.
The guilty charge relates to an incident in Penzance in May last year, when the brothers set upon the two men in the street.
The judge ordered both defendants to pay one of the men £2,500 in compensation each, plus £250 each to the second victim. Both brothers were also ordered to pay fines of £500.
