COASTGUARDS went in search of a missing woman considered to be in a vulnerable state yesterday.
Coastguards from Lands End and Penzance were tasked by Falmouth Coastguard Operations Centre, at the request of Devon & Cornwall Police.
The woman's car was located in the Botallack area and the 30 year-old, considered to be in a vulnerable state, was not with her car.
Both Teams were requested to search an area from Cot Valley to the south and along the coast path to Pendeen Watch to the north.
As an added facility to search from the seaward side looking along the cliffs, the Sennen Cove Lifeboat Station was requested to launch.
An area similar to the land search units was also covered.
Police units searching more inland located the woman safe and well.
All units were stood down to return to their respective stations.
