Police are seeking witnesses to a hit-and-run collision in Penzance which left a cyclist injured.

The 50-year-old man was riding his bike at Long Rock bypass when he was stuck from behind by a car.

The man, from Penzance, was knocked off his bike and was treated at Treliske Hospital for a back injury.

The car failed to stop after the collision which happened between 7.40pm and 7.50pm on Tuesday, March 5.

Police are investigating the incident and asking for the public’s help to trace the car and the driver.
