A DOG had to be rescued from a Lizard peninsula beach this morning.
A call was received by Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service's Critical Control from the owner, whose dog had become stuck between rocks at Church Cove, Gunwalloe.
Three appliances from Mullion Community Fire Station were mobilised to the scene and the coastguard was also informed.
On arrival the crews found the dog stuck between rocks.
The Coastguard were also on scene and working with firefighters, the dog was successfully released unharmed and reunited with its owner.
All appliances have now left the scene.
