Having spent more than 15 years lying empty Helston Business Park has seen a second company move in within the space of two months.

Forms Plus, which sells integrated labels and despatch forms to the likes of Gap, Sainsbury’s, Boots, H&M and Joules, as well as local firms such as Frugi and Ann’s Cottage, has relocated from another part of the town to take up the second unit, having been looking for the right premises for five years.

It follows the opening of Screwfix at the business park, at the start of the year.

Managing director Victoria Andrews said the move would allow Forms Plus to continue to expand into new markets and secure permanent employment for more local people.

She told the Helston Packet: “We are all extremely pleased to be in our new modern premises, which better reflect the type of business we are - forward thinking, market leaders in our industry.

“It’s taken a lot of hard work and planning, we could not have done any of this without our fantastic committed staff. “ The business, which has been trading for 38 years and currently employs 13 people, has been based at Water-Ma-Trout for the last 12 years, having been at The Willows in Cross Street before that.

“The business has expanded considerably since our management buyout in 2012. I am now going into my 30th year at Forms Plus and feel proud of how far we have come during this time,” added Ms Andrews.

It is the second of three units being built in the first phase of development at the business park by site owner Matt Lugg, managing director of MJL Cornwall Ltd.

A third unit is currently under construction, ready for Bradfords Building Supplies to move in next January, ahead of a planned second phase of building works.

Ms Andrews said: “The directors would like to thank Matt Lugg for constructing a high-quality bespoke building and WT Flockhart Plumbing & Heating and MPL builders for the internal fit out. “

Forms Plus also supplies a full range of ‘business stationery’ such as letterheads, invoice books and till rolls.
