Stuck out at sea with complete engine failure, the crew of a fishing boat were facing problems today until the Lizard Lifeboat stepped in.
The lifeboat was launched just after midday to help the 25ft Gemini after she became stranded just off The Manacles, midway between The Lizard and Falmouth.
With two people onboard, the boat's engines had completely failed and the crew needed a tow to shore.
The lifeboat crew attached a two rope onto the boat and pulled it safely into St Mawes, before returning to the station ready for action again.
