Mike Smith, chairman of Helston Memory Cafe, was pleased to accept a cheque of £400 from Paul Turton on behalf of Helstonbury festival.
The money will be put to good use by partly financing a Memory Cafe outing as the group enters its tenth year.
It meets the first and third Tuesdays of every month at Hens Horn Court in Helston, and aims to support people with memory problems by giving them and their carers a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon with activities such as quizzes and coach trips.
Helstonbury is an annual four day festival based at The Blue Anchor, which raises money for various charities in the Helston area.
