Plans have gone in for a 'retail pod' to be added to the front of Penryn's Asda supermarket.
McLagan Investments Ltd has asked Cornwall Council for planning permission and advertising consent for a pod clad in timber on three sides, with a glass front.
This would be placed to the right of the store front, near the cash points, and used by Timpson, which would offer dry cleaning, shoe, phone and watch repairs, key cutting and photo IDs.

It would be open 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
The plans show one disabled parking space having to be relocated.
