A CAMBORNE man has been jailed for four years for attempted robbery and possession of a knife.
Dillon Berryman, of Fordh Lacey, appeared in Truro Crown Court on Friday to be sentenced after pleading guilty to the two offences in February.
The 20 year-old attempted to rob village shop Beacon Stores, in Beacon, on Thursday, January 31, wielding a knife in front of the shop owner.
Berryman left the shop empty-handed and made off in a car driven by another man, who was originally arrested but later released without charge.
