A road closure expected to be in place in Helston for most of this week appears to have ended ahead of schedule.
Cornwall Council had warned that traffic would not be able to use Penhellaz Hill due to the road being closed between the junctions of St Johns Close and the Tubben.
The closure was scheduled to have been in place from last Monday, April 8, through to this Thursday, April 18.
However, work appears to have finished early as today the road is once again open to traffic and the warning signs have been removed.
The notice has also been taken off the Cornwall Council ‘live incidents’ alerts page online.
The road closure was put in place for ground investigations and clearance of vegetation.
