A Falmouth woman went for a morning drive whilst more than three times over the legal alcohol limit.
Vanessa Lawrey, 29, drove a short distance in Cambridge Place, where she lives, at 9.20am on Tuesday March 26.
She was found to have 119 microgrammes of alcohol in her breath when the legal limit is 35.
Magistrates disqualified her from driving for 26 months, taking into account her previous good character, early guilty plea and personal problems at the time of the offence.
Lawrey showed remorse for her actions that were described as "grossly irresponsible" by magistrates.
As well as the disqualification, Lawrey must complete 100 hours of unpaid work and pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £85 at the rate of £50 per month.
