Rock superstars Snow Patrol are the latest act confirmed for the Eden Sessions this summer.

They will headline a show on Saturday, June 29.

Snow Patrol will be making their long awaited return to the famous Biomes after their previous sold out Eden Session in 2006.

The band released their seventh studio album Wildness in May 2018. It debuted at number two in the UK Albums Chart and has been certified gold.

Since their debut album in 1998, the band have accumulated many critical and commercial accolades, including over 16 million global album sales, more than one billion global track streams, five UK Platinum Albums, and are Grammy, BRIT Award and Mercury Music Prize nominated.

In 2005, Snow Patrol’s third album Final Straw won the Ivor Novello Album Award. The album was also listed in NME’s 2006 list of 100 Best Albums of All Time.

The band released their hit album Eyes Open in 2006 which became the biggest-selling album in the UK that year and included the iconic track Chasing Cars. In 2009, Channel 4 named it the Song of the Decade and in 2011 it won the Q Award for Classic Song.

Amongst their other notable hits are Run, You’re All I Have, Signal Fire, Take Back the City, Just Say Yes and Called Out in the Dark.

The Eden Sessions enter their 18th year in 2019 with Stereophonics, (June 20 – sold out), Nile Rodgers & CHIC, (June 21 – sold out), Liam Gallagher, (June 26 – sold out) The Chemical Brothers (June 28 – sold out) and Kylie Minogue (July 2 and 3 - both sold out) the other artists confirmed for the season so far.

Tickets to the Snow Patrol Eden Session cost £50 plus £5 booking fee and went on sale to members of the Inside Track club from midday today.Tickets go on general sale at 4.30pm next Tuesday, April 23 on edensessions.com.
