The scene on Perranporth beach on Monday morning
Police have identified a woman whose body was found on Perranporth beach on Monday.
Emergency services were called just before 7am following the discovery of the woman at the shoreline. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
She has been identified following police enquiries and her next of kin informed. She was 22 and from Perranporth.
Police are continuing enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding her death, which is being treated as unexplained.
