Police have charged a man in connection with a fire which swept through four houses in Illogan on Tuesday evening.
Zak Rodda, aged 32 from Illogan, has been charged with arson with intent and is due to appear before Bodmin Magistrates today.
Police and Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service attended Bridge Road in Illogan near Redruth, at around 5.30pm on Tuesday, following a report of a fire at a residential property.
Around 50 firefighters tackled the blaze for several hours.
The fire spread to a number of adjacent properties which were evacuated.
There were no reports of any casualties.
