Paramedics and a coastguard team were called out to Ferry Boat Beach on the Helford River to treat a woman who had suffered a fall on Wednesday.
The incident took place at around 3.44pm. Falmouth Coastguard Rescue Team attended and found that she was being treated by paramedics.
The woman was taken to hospital for further treatment. A member of the coastguard team said: "We wish the lady a speedy recovery."
