A fourteen-bedroom extension could be built at a Mabe care home, if planning permission is granted.
Permission is being sought for a two-storey extension at Antron Manor. The plans include en-suite bathrooms as well as kitchen, dining and plant facilities.
A design and access statement submitted by Keith Wotton Architectural Services says that the extension would increase the number of bedrooms at the home to 22, the "minimum required to make the business viable".
