A CAR fire early this morning (June 7) is believed to be arson.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said it was called at 5.13am to Eastern Green, Penzance.
A fire engine from the town went to the scene to find a car alight in a field.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "On arrival the crew found the car to be well alight and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using two hosereels extinguished the fire.
"The fire is believed to be arson at this time and the incident has been left with the police."
