THE Greenbank Hotel has teamed up with Coyaba Rum to hold its first ever Rum Club.

Starting at 7pm on Wednesday, June 19, it is a chance to find out about the Coyaba team and how they distil the funky and fresh Trinidad, Jamaica and Barbados rums on the Lizard Peninsula.

Bar manager of The Greenbank Hotel, Yohann Thuillier, said: “We’ve noticed that when it comes to drink events, gin is usually the spirit of choice – but what if you don’t like gin?

"This event is sure to bring out all the rum lovers for an evening of Caribbean revelries.”

With natural flavours and secret spices added to these tipples, sip on a few of their delicious samples and sink into two rum cocktails before tucking into a hearty slow cooked lamb or jackfruit dish, created by The Greenbank’s Head Chef, Bobby Southworth.

Director of Coyaba Rum, Rubina Tyler-Street, said: “We're absolutely delighted to be partnering with the Greenbank Hotel for their first ever Rum Club. It's going to be a fun, relaxed evening with Coyaba Rum tales, from inception to creation. There's a little quiz and prize giveaways, as well as the opportunity to sample brand new flavours.”

Tickets for the Rum Club are £20 per person and can be booked by calling 01326 312440.
