A man has been airlifted to hospital this afternoon after falling over a cliff.
Mullion Coastguard Rescue Team, the Lizard Lifeboat and the coastguard rescue helicopter were paged at 3.55pm to the The Lizard.
A 999 call had been made after a man fell down a cliff near Lizard Point.
He was picked up by lifeboat volunteers from the sea and lifted into the coastguard helicopter, which flew him directly to the Royal Cornwall Hospital.
A spokesperson for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency said there were no further details about the man or his condition at this time.
