Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust is hosting a free event on Monday to showcase career opportunities and pathways into health and care.

TO be held in the Knowledge Spa (2-5pm), it is aimed at young people who are considering what to do after finishing school or college.

With exams now finished and young people considering what to do next, the grandly-named Festival of Opportunity offers a chance to meet and talk with a wide range of health and care professionals and to learn about the many diverse and rewarding career options available.

Working in health and care offers progression, leadership opportunities and job satisfaction, and the Festival aims to inspire young people to consider health and care when making their career choices.

There will be the opportunity to interact and learn about the myriad of clinical and supporting roles and to get up-to-date advice from different Universities to learn about the different pathways that are available.

Anyone with an interest in working in healthcare will be very welcome to drop by, browse the displays, take part in workshops, and chat to the team on Monday afternoon.

There is pay and display parking on-site and the Park and Ride bus stop is right outside the Knowledge Spa.
