A STATIC caravan was completely destroyed by fire last night.
Cornwall Fire & Rescue Serivce's Critical Control Centre received a call to report a static caravan on fire in the area of Brea, near Camborne, just before 11.30pm.
Fire crews from Tolvaddon and Hayle Fire Stations attended the incident.
On arrival crews reported the static caravan has been completely destroyed by fire and the blaze had spread to an adjacent container.
Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used hosereel jets to extinguish the fire and damp down the caravan.
The incident has been handed over to Devon and Cornwall Police and an investigation into the cause of the fire will be completed in due course.
