Truro Cathedral received an unexpected guest on Saturday afternoon.
A seagull, eagerly waiting for the main doors to open in succession allowing it to enter, promptly wandered in for a look around.
Or perhaps the gull came in to listen to the choral music being rehearsed at the time?
Being chased by a member of cathedral staff, he wasn’t planning on going anywhere, evading capture for a few minutes until being cornered and gently picked up.
He let off a loud cry that echoed throughout the peaceful chambers, before taken outside and released.
The video was taken by Jason Kelly.
