POLICE in Wales are appealing for information about a missing man who could be in Cornwall.
Gwent Police said that Ben Mead, 38, a patient at Llanarth Court Hospital, Abergavenny, left the site on Wednesday (July 31) on authorised leave, but failed to return.
Devon and Cornwall Police said that he has links to both counties.
Mr Mead is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall and of slim build, with medium length brown hair.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt, blue jumper and blue trainers.
While he is not believed to be a risk to the public, if members of the public see Mr Mead they are advised not approach him, but to contact the police.
Anyone who knows of his whereabouts should call 101, quoting log number 299 31/7/19.
