Gwinear Road is closed due to a signal failure at the level crossing
People are putting their lives in danger by ignoring a road closure caused by a level crossing failure this morning.
Gwinear Road, at Polmenor Down near Hayle, is closed in both directions after the signals failed where the road crosses the train tracks.
The crossing is close to the Squirrels Tea Room and Rosewarne Manor, and not far from Trevaskis Farm.
Traffic sensors show people are still passing through the road, despite the closure.
